My Portfolio

  • I am most proud of Night Garden Evolution, the final piece in my Night Garden collection. It brings together the atmosphere and symbolism of the entire series.

I worked with a very limited colour palette to create a quiet, moonlit feeling, and subtly wove Celtic knotwork and floral symbolism into the composition to mirror the couple seated on the stairs. It remains one of my strongest and most meaningful botanical watercolour pieces.

  • I primarily work with professional watercolours on cold-press watercolour paper, alongside Uniball fine liners and gold inks for detailing. This combination allows me to build soft botanical layers while maintaining delicate linework and ornamental details.

  • I allow myself a month to focus on each themed collection. I find working like this helps to keep me moving like a stream rather than a stagnant puddle. The collections that I most enjoy tend to be larger and have more pieces within, but I still try to keep to my monthly timeline.

  • I do hope to sell original watercolour paintings in the future. However, I feel deeply attached to the core pieces within my Bellis collections, as they form part of a complete story. I would be more likely to release standalone botanical originals that sit outside a themed collection.

  • I am not currently exhibiting my work in person. However, I welcome gallery inquiries and would be delighted to collaborate on future exhibitions or events.
